About the Role
AML Tech is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build reliable and user-friendly software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Debug and resolve application issues and production defects.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
- Follow software engineering best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Contribute to improving development processes and system architecture.
Required Skills
- Strong programming knowledge in PHP, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Good understanding of OOP and software design principles.
- Experience with REST APIs and web application development.
- Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of application security and debugging.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Laravel, Node.js, React, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Redis or caching systems.
- Understanding of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of automated testing and monitoring tools.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
